There were 4 ants each at the corner of a unit square. Each of the ants started chasing in the clockwise direction. They all ran at the same speed and continuously changed their directions accordingly so that they were always heading straight towards the other ants. How long did it take for the ants to catch each other and where?

Three Hats Puzzle

#212

In a game show, The Three Stooges; Moe, Larry and Curly entered the room, each with a hat on their head. There were two colors of hats: Black and Red, which were assigned to them randomly. Each person could see the hats of the two other people, but they couldn't see their own hats. Each person could either try to guess the color of their own hat or pass. All three do it simultaneously, so there was no way to base their guesses on the guesses of others. If nobody guesses incorrectly and at least one person guesses correctly, they all share a big prize. Otherwise they all lose.

Before the contest, The Three Stooges had a meeting during which they decided their strategy. What might be the best strategy?

Truth And Lie

Truth And Lie - Logic Puzzles
One day, you were going to a world famous Casino"Old World" which is 200 miles away from your home. You didn't know the route and driving by using GPS. In the meantime, you got one point, where the road bifurcated and you were not able to decide in which direction you go(as your phone died).
There you met two friends. Among them, one always speaks the truth and other one always lies. When you asked the way from them, they allowed you to ask only one question.
So, what question did you ask from them to be assured of the right direction and from who you'd ask the question ?

  Difficulty Level - 2/5

  Update Your Answers Click Here

  Solution :

You ask either of the friends "If I asked your friend which path to take to get to the world famous Casino"Old World", which way would he tell me to go?" And then I would take the opposite path of the one I'm told. Because:

1) If I'm talking to the truth telling friend, then he will tell me what his friend would say, which would be a lie. So the direction indicated would be wrong.

2) If I'm talking to the lying friend, then he would lie about what his friend would say, which would be the truth. So the lying friend would still indicate the wrong path.
